The 2930s were founded in 2009 by The BossHoss bassist Guss Brooks and the Australian guitarist singer/songwriter The Josh. Together, their diverse influences focused on a highly explosive signature sound somewhere between indie, punk rock, garage and 60's soul.

The band released 1 E.P. and 3 full length albums and shared the stage with Danko Jones, Triggerfinger, The Graveltones and The Sonics. The 2930s also performed arena shows with their pals, The BossHoss, during the Dos Bros tour in 2016.

Packed with crunching guitar riffs, driving bass lines and the charismatic vocals from front man The Josh, it's all about a wild journey of heartache, despair and burning passion. The 2930s powered through to absolute exhaustion on stage with their contagious high-energy set of audience favourites, no wonder fans travelled cross country to see these boys live and loud.

In late 2018 the band decided to go on hiatus. Performing their last show, back where it all started, at Rosis Amüsierlokal in Dresden, Germany.

You can continue to catch Guss Brooks as he tours with The BossHoss. The Josh continues his song writing and studio work from his studio "Catalina Music" in Dresden. Rosis Rockets will continue to play, so you can catch the dynamic duo at those shows.
