Spiralized is an electronic solo project founded in 2015 by the Italian musician Davide Camattari.
Besides being a rock guitar player, in the early ‘90s he fell in love with electronic music; in those years he founded Noir Overlaps with his great friend Cristiano. Their music was mostly inspired by the UK ambient/techno scene of those times, mainly by bands as The Orb, Orbital, Aphex Twin, Leftfield and many others.
Above all, their major musical influence were the songs coming from the fathers of modern electronic music: The Kraftwerk.
After appearing on two compilations published by the Italian label Betaform: “SubElectronica Vol. 1 and Vol. 2”, the project broke up in late 90s, leaving behind hours of never-released music demos and full albums.
After several years of musical inactivity, Davide returned to electronica in 2015 and began composing songs under the moniker Spiralized.
Since then, he self-released four albums:

- ABSTRACT LIQUID ELEMENTS EP (2015)
The comeback album, still reminescing the early techno influences, but still introducing sounds coming from the contemporary electronic scene.
- ENDLESS WAVE EP (2017)
Actually, an anticipation of the following album. It contains the title song in a short version and and a remix version, plus a third song coming from the same recording sessions.
- SAILING ON A SEA OF FALLING STARS (2017)
The first full album by Spiralized, about one hour of songs alternating ethereal atmospheres and downtempo rythms.
- NEURAL INTERFERENCES EP (2018)
Four songs EP, between rhytm and melody, maybe Spiralized’s most ambient work.

Davide is currently involved in putting the finishing touches to Spiralized’s new album called “Nocturnal Visions”, which is due to release in late 2018, and in the organization and planning of future live performances.
