Italian band Salvation Lies Above is a metalcore/post-hardcore band born in 2013 by the idea of its main guitarist and songs composer Davide Bonfantino to spread the genre in his country. Influenced by powerful contemporary metal and hard rock bands, Salvation Lies Above take the best of modern strong guitar riffs and link them with electro sounds and synths, perfectly connected with their main vocalist's Luca Simone dirty vocal lines and second guitarist and vocalist Filippo Maria Alfeo's bright choruses. In 2015 they released their first self-produced EP "Waiting".
