Working predominantly in the Afropop industry, our label is geared toward exposure, introduction, familiarisation, hype and integration as well as increasing awareness of the unique afropop style and variety of genres we have in Africa and from Africans in diaspora.
Over the years, Afropop has emerged as a leading and household genre or style of music but piracy, corruption and lack of reliable means of music distribution has led to the artistes being shortchanged and duped.
DuchessPR seek to elimate this by supporting active submission to over 700 music pools, This means Afropop artistes can take advantage of monetisation, harness royalties from radio, television, youtube and more alongside promotion and exposure as well as listing on a roster that is very genre specific with a label that actually understands and can promote Afropop and African music.
DuchessPR works at reducing and limiting free share and unwanted distribution, encouraging copyright registration and respect of intelectual property and supporting artistes to join the bigger worldwide market and flaunt their talent.
