Akan Recordings was founded by producer-dj Irmak Akan in 2018. The label’s vision is to broadcast and release music spanning from House to Techno and a variety of its sub-genres, as well as other genres such as Electronica/Downtempo and Pop-Dance-Disco. In addition to electronic music, they take on projects in post-production (e.g., soundtracks and sound designs for motion pictures and game sound).
