Graduated Summa Cum Laude in Jazz Performance for Berklee
College of Music in Boston, USA.
There he received several scholarships as well as the prestigious Elvin Jones Award (Award awarded by Berklee Performance Department
College of Music), and the Berklee World Scholarship tour.

He has been lucky to study with musicians like George Garzone, Joe Lovano, Hal Crook, Mick Goodrick, Joanne Bracken, among others.

He has played with musicians such as Bill McHenry, Jeff Galindo, Robert
Kaufman, Masa Kamaguchi, Aldo Caviglia, Benet Palet,
Miguel 'Pintxo' Villar, , Martí Serra, Jordi Gaspar, Jordi Gardeñas,
Marco Mezquida, Guim Garcia, Raynald Colom and more.

He is part of several musical projects such as Rai Castells &
Jordi Gardeñas, Rai Castells Quintet, Groove Collective, Henderson
Project, Wednesday Nispers.

He has collaborated in various record works such as: Impros & Films
(Rai Castells & Jordi Gardeñas), Aramateix, Big Band Vic,
Jordi Boixadós (Jocs De Rol), Chico De La Moto, Wednesday Nispers (A Year From Now).
