The label ARA Records produces different kinds of music, for example electronic Chillout, Latin, Pop, Relaxing Music and many more. Ara Records was founded in 2002 by Günter Jaskon, the former bandleader of the European top showband Jaskon Five. Günter Jaskon has some 50 years of experience as a multi-instrumentalist, composer and all-round entertainer. He has been committed to various styles of music and lately inspired by Indian Ayurveda he began producing meditative and chill-out music. By now a large number of record labels have added Ara Record's electronic chill-out compositions to their compilation albums. Also, well-known DJ Raphaël Marionneau has included several electronic chillout compositions to his famous radio program.
