Nuno Fonseca created the concept in 1991, but it was not until 2000 that Woorpz was born, fruit of the will to create something new in the electronic music panorama of Lisbon's nightlife.
A partnership with Nossus Bar (actual Groove Bar) arose, it was the beginning of several House and Techno events, which still are being performed nowadays.
In 2002, B.A. Trance Movement begun, at a time where Trance was beginning to emerge on the European panorama, as a new form of musical expression and also as a need to break barriers and to go far beyond on the ongoing tendencies.This movement still persists, and events under this theme still occur every now and then, always very enthusiastic.
On 2008, Chill-out was added to the Psychedelic sounds, represented by the project Chill_LX.
Nowadays, Woorpz bets on the diversity of stiles and melodies, reinforcing its bookings of DJ's and producers. Its slogan - trying to update in face of the new tendencies, nationally and internationally, aimed to boosting the arts with innovative and versatile projects impregnated with good vibes ;)
