Mycore Records was founded on November 20, 2009 by DJ and producer Kai Urig. Since then, the label focuses on the promotion of national, and international artists, known or unknown. The sound of the label was at first minimal and technoid, but has further developed. Thus, the label is nowadays representing the genres Progressive- Deep-House and Trance. Mycore is presenting its music on DJ-Showacases, digital music stores and podcasts all over the world.
"Its not only about releasing music, it's more about giving so called 'underground' DJs the chance to present their music a wider audience. Everyone should have the chance to realize his own special dreams."
The label is built up of 5 people. Owner and CEO is Kai Urig, who leads all operations. In his decisions, he is supported by George Robbins, who also acts as 'Artist Director' for the trance genre and manages the mastering department. Underneath are two more Artist Directors 'Johannes Ortlieb' and 'René Johanntoberens' who take care of their respective genres.
