The Austrian rapper Dame and the digital music distributor Feiyr celebrate the renewal of their distribution agreement. Michael Zöttl aka Dame and his label ‘Damestream Records’ rely on Feiyr when it comes to digital distribution. The singer and the distributor have a longstanding partnership covering digital distribution, YouTube and marketing. All the five albums as well as ten singles released by the artist have been sold through Feiyr. At the moment Dame is working on his next LP.

The rapper from Salzburg was only 22 years old when he released his first song, “Pave Low”, on YouTube. Now the YouTube star can boast one of the biggest fan communities of German hip-hop: over 100 million views and more than 400,000 subscribers. Since the beginning of his music career, he has always promoted his music and grown his fanbase on the internet. Thanks to Feiyr, he has found new distribution channels and with the support of digital music distribution, his popularity has increased as well.

In 2012, Dame found his own label “Damestream Records” representing hip-hop artists. “We are happy about the cooperation with Dame”, says Jürgen Vonbank, Label Manager at Feiyr. “Dame is a self-made artist. He made it with his own efforts and has become an internet phenomenon. Thanks to the digital music distribution, he achieved a breakthrough outside of the internet community.
