Feiyr distributed „Daft Punk“ to the exclusiv download shops
Daft Punk is allegedly nonplussed about (and uninvolved with) these remixes of its original synths-and-orchestra score for “Tron: Legacy.” “Tron: Legacy Reconfigured” proves the duo was right to keep its hands clean, as it’s a mess of a record that pulls off the neat trick of rendering the source material unrecognizable, yet adding little to the emotional world of the score. That’s not for a lack of top-flight talent: Moby and Paul Oakenfold added dance-titan bona fides while upstarts such as Com Truise and Pretty Lights should have kept the sound au courant.
But the album’s failures just underscore what an impossible feat they were tasked with. How do you remix an orchestra, anyway? Moby’s take on “The Son of Flynn” is brooding and meticulous, and Avicii and Kaskade turn in capable floor-filling versions of “Derezzed” and “Rinzler.” But the rest makes an incoherent hash of work by a band known for careful detail.

Amazon.com Inc. announced the launch of an unlimited streaming service for its Prime members at no additional cost, but the membership will continue to be $79 per year.
"Amazon's launch of streaming as a free option for Prime members is a growing threat to Netflix Inc., as Amazon adds more content and distribution partnerships.

CNN reports that Apple is in talks with the recording industry to sell higher-quality music files through iTunes.
The only problem: an 60-minute album at top quality would be almost 2GB in size, meaning it would take forever to download and eat up scarce storage space on iPhones and iPods.
The report is based on comments from record producer Jimmy Iovine at the introduction of HP's TouchPad tablet on February 9. Iovine explained that audio is recorded at 24-bit quality, but is distributed to computers at only 16-bit quality.
He said that Universal, one of the big four labels, had recently upgraded its pipes to support 24-bit audio, and that Apple was receptive to the idea.
But 24-bit and 16-bit aren't the root of the quality problem. The root of the problem is compression. To get audio files down to a reasonable size, they have to be squeezed into a format like MP3 or AAC (used by iTunes). That strips out a lot of information.
Audiofiles argue about which of these "lossy" compression formats is best, but none of them sound as good as a CD or an uncompressed file.

On Saturday debuted his dance video for his new track called “All of the Lights,” which also features the R&B Star Rihanna.
The US rapper premiered the video to most people’s surprise, as he did not hint that he would be releasing it beforehand.
The video starts off by showing a list of names and is followed by a little girl walking out of a building with her backpack into the snowy streets of the city.
During the rest of the video, Kanye is shown rapping at one point on top of a police car as the lights are flashing. Rihanna also appears in the R&B video, singing part of the chorus. “All of the Lights” is the latest single to come from Kanye’s fifth studio album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Sony’s Music Unlimited comes to US, Spotify and EMI deal rumours!
It's getting closer: Spotify has finalized a U.S. distribution deal with EMI Music, multiple sources tell me.
Both EMI and Spotify declined to comment.
Coupled with last month's Sony deal, Spotify now has the approval from two of the four major music labels for an American launch. But that still doesn't guarantee you'll see the streaming music subscription service in America anytime soon.
In order to make a credible offer to U.S. users, Spotify will need to at least get Universal Music Group, the world's biggest label, on board, and it's not there yet.
It would also be nice if Spotify could land Warner Music Group, which now seems more doable than in the past, given Warner CEO Edgar Bronfman's increasingly positive comments about the company.
If and when Spotify does come to the U.S., it will also have to contend with new rules from Apple, which will require a 30 percent cut of any subscriptions the service sells through Apple's iTunes platform. That tariff is going to be a significant problem for many of Spotify's peers

The Atomic Angels is a Teenager Pop Group from Bern, Switzerland. Michelle, Martina and Francesca are performing since they are 8 years old. They were performing at various events and Song contests. With 10 years they were supporting an adult Band on a CD Production. In 2009 the 3 Angels were attending the Swiss Prix Walo Contest which is for young talented artists in Switzerland. In the same year they also attended a large Contest in Germany and got a 6 Minute reportage on the Germany TV Sender RTL. In spring 2010 the Atomic Angels recorded theirs first song with the title "Saviour", the second song will follow up in summer 2010.
